Lethukukhanya Health Institute is a non-governmental organisation formed in 1995 and begun its first project in the same year. It is based in Johannesburg in the Gauteng province, South Africa. It is also fully accredited by the Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA). The Organisation is also approved by South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP) and HWSETA to train Social Auxiliary Workers.

The facilitating of knowledge and skills in the field of health, social and community development in Southern Africa.
To provide education and training aimed at improving the quality of life to rural, informal settlements and urban communities.

Objective & Value Statement

To make our training programmes and services accessible to all who need them.
To affirm and strengthen the role of community health/ social auxiliary workers as health/social and wealth facilitators.


Our Target Market

Rural, Informal settlements, urban and semi-urban areas where service delivery is difficult.
